The products we use are professional graded (ph neutral & non-acidic) and have been carefully selected to provide the best finish.
You know your car better than anyone and more importantly know how you like it to look, so we tailor your vehicle’s finish to your liking inside and out. This is discussed prior to starting.
MDR Cars are fully insured with public liability insurance
Do you need power?
Yes, we do require an electrical socket but have a 50m extension cable onboard. Years of experience has taught us nobody likes a noisy generator running for hours outside their homes or work premises.
All our electrical items are energy saving and have been personally chosen for there performance and quietness.
Do you bring water?
We bring our own onboard filtered water supplied by Spotless Water.
This is better for your car as tap water has lots of calcium and can mark paintwork
Payment on the day
Upon completion we will email an invoice to you. We kindly ask for payment to be made on the day by either bank transfer or cash payment
Please note: Late payment fees can be applied if payment has failed to of been made within a 24 hour period from appointment date.
Cancellation Policy
When your appointment is booked, we are holding a space in our diary that is no longer available to other customers.
In order to be respectful to all parties, please call as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.
If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow us to move another customer to that appointment date
Please note any cancellations made less than a 48 hour period (before your appointment) will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of this fee is £50
Ceramic coatings offer years of amazing gloss and protection for the exterior of your vehicle.
These coatings work by bonding to your car’s paintwork. Once bonded with the paintwork its much harder to remove than a traditional wax or sealant making it more durable.
Like with most products there are many different grades available on the market that offer higher protection & longevity. We only offer the highest grade currently available which has a hardness rating of 9H. Ceramic coatings start as low as 3H that usually offer up to 1 year protection. As a general rule the higher the level of ceramic & SiO2 (Silicon Dioxide) the more durable the product will be.
Although ceramic will protect your vehicle for many years and despite being very durable, they still require maintenance. We recommend every 4-6 months to help the longevity of your coating. We offer a great value maintenance detail package to all our customers vehicles.
We are often asked many questions about ceramic coatings, so to help we’ve listed the most common below:
Please note: Due to weather, temperature and cure times we only offer application of ceramic coatings from April to November. As the coating needs to be applied in dry conditions and remain above 6 degrees to cure to the paintwork, sadly this cannot be guaranteed during winter time.
We have access to a large popup car cover that can be used during poor & hot weather, however sometimes it maybe best to rearrange the clean for another day.
